Personal information
My name is Terry Sanders (May 31, 1951). I was born in Loogootee, Indiana and graduated from Loogootee High School in 1969. I worked at National Gypsum Company in Shoals, Indiana for 18 years. I quit in 1990 to enter full-time preaching. I preached in Parkersburg, West Virginia from August 1990 to February 1995 at which time we moved to Cincinnati where I began preaching for the Evendale congregation until June of 2004. In June of 2004 we moved to Tuckerman, Arkansas and I am preaching for the church here. Click here to vist the church web site.
Martha [nee Potts] (March 27, 1955) is from Shoals, Indiana. She graduated from Shoals High School in 1973. She has worked at RCA, Sanders' Deli, Orange County Senior Citizens, Kroger, Wood County Schools, West Virginia University at Parkersburg, Sharonville Elementary School, King's Island Money Room, City Drug Store in Tuckerman, and is currently employed at Home Depot in Batesville, AR. We were married on November 19, 1976. She is everything a preacher's wife could possibly be. We celebrate thirty years of marriage in November of 2006.

Jenny is our first born (May 11, 1979). She is a real treasure. She is of a gentle and quiet disposition with a tender heart. Jenny graduated from Princeton High School in 1997 and from Scarlet Oaks Vocational school (with High Honors) in 1997. On September 20, 1997 she wed Sean Sullivan (an excellent preacher) from Pelham, Ontario, Canada. Sean is more than a son-in-law to us. He is now part of our family. They lived in Shoals, Indiana where Sean preached for the Main Street church of Christ until May, 2001. Jenny taught a class for children at Shoals. They moved to Norwalk, Ohio on May 10, 2001 to work with the church there. In November 2005 they moved to work with the Main Street church in Newbern, Tennessee.

Daniel is our youngest (May 8, 1984). He is very athletic and very good at about anything he tries. He is a "chip off the old block." (Is the world ready?). He is much like Jenny in being tender-hearted. He has preached a few times by filling in for me when I am gone in meetings. He is a very good song leader and has become an excellent bass singer. Daniel attended Princeton High School and started in 2000 at Scarlet Oaks Vocational School studying HVAC. Daniel graduated May 31, 2002 which was also my birthday. (oddest of coincidences, I graduated on my birthday also). Daniel graduated from RETS, a vocational and technical school near Dayton in March of 2004. He was on the Dean's list. When we moved to Tuckerman in June of 2004 Daniel moved in with his sister and family in Norwalk, OH. Daniel moved to Tuckerman in May of 2005. On June 11, 2005 he married a fine young Christian lady from Sandusky, OH. Justina Griggs is now Justina Sanders and a welcome addition to the family. They moved back to Sandusky, OH in April of 2006. Daniel did quite a bit of fill-in preaching at Ashland, OH. They had their first baby, a boy, Korrigan Nehemiah Sanders, on October 23, 2006. Daniel, Justina and Korrigan moved back to Arkansas in May of 2007. On July 1, 2007 he began work with the Eastside church in Blytheville, Arkansas.

Buster is the name for the most low down varmint ever to put on a fur coat! We adopted him as a kitten from the Parkersburg Humane Society in 1992. He is full of love when it is feeding time, but has a ready bite and swat of the paws at all other times. Nevertheless, he is a part of the family and we love him and I suppose he does us in his own strange way. After all, he lets us live in the house with him. What more could you ask? He is kind of like that "crazy old aunt" who lives in the basement that Ross Perot used to talk about.

Trixie is the name of our little dog. I was mowing grass one Saturday in April of 2006 when she came along. We didn't pay much attention to her. She hung around for about a week and Martha decided if she adopted us, we could adopt her. She is somewhat shy, but is friendly after a little coaxing. She gets so excited when one of us comes home.
